Life hits you harder in some months than others. Keep in mind I'm still living this nightmare post-separation. The abuse is still there, and the obsessive, controlling behavior is still there. I have to fight to protect myself and my children, I have to fight to get child support, and I have to fight for every little thing I have. I have to stay strong despite my ex-husband’s every attempt to destroy me. I can’t even keep up with the clever ways he tries to put me down through our children. It is sickening but my kids and I will prevail.
